Carey Lowell is an American actor and former model. She started her career by modeling for prominent fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Her acting debut came with the 1986 film "Dangerously Close.' Her next appearance was in "Club Paradise," a film that occurred the same year. She was also part of the James Bond movie 'Licence to Kill' (1989). Later, she reprised her role by lending her voice to the game video '007 Legends. She is most well-known for her appearance on TV and in particular for the part of 'Jamie' Ross in the American TV drama 'Law & Order. The show included her in a main role and a guest role. Unsatisfied with the media, in the early 2000s she made the decision to enroll at New York University and study documentary filmmaking. The three-year divorce battle she had that involved actor Richard Gere ended in 2016. Since the time, Lowell has steered clear of controversy.
