Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. She went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to take on McGill. She won the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for the performance of the evening. Her first major fight came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters, received her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
